Being with God in Nature
The International Ignatian Ecospiritual Conference 2021 will be hosted on 26 – 30 September 2021 as part of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Conversion of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Participants will have an immersion experience into Nature in tropical far north Queensland. A chance to experience some of the unique ecosystems in world heritage areas of Australia. A time to celebrate God’s Creation in the Daintree Rainforest and the Barrier Reef. A once in a lifetime opportunity sharing it with others committed to caring for our common home. A time to contemplate our connection with the Presence that is God in Nature, which fills us with desire to recommit our lives to reconciliation with Creation.
Inspirational speakers and a dedicated time for our Ecological Conversion through being with God in Nature.
“So what they all need is an ‘ecological conversion’, whereby the effects of their encounter with Jesus Christ becomes evident in their relationship with the world around them.” (LS, n. 217)
We hope you’ll join us for this special occasion. This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
